Hello everyone! Yesterday we had a fantastic time at the Orphan Care Center in Soshanguve, South Africa. Our sponsorship of Kerus Global has allowed them to build this center and a playground! It’s awesome! We went to church at the center and I told everyone my story. Church was pretty incredible. These people, despite their circumstances, truly love God. Today we are going back to the center to play games and have fun with all of the kids. The main problem in Soshanguve is the AIDS epidemic. The children at the center are all orphans. A whole generation is missing in Soshanguve and grannies (that’s what they call the old grandmothers) that take care of the granddaughters and grandsons are getting older leaving the kids to question where they will go when they die.
We are leaving for a Safari today and I won’t have internet access. I won’t be able to post until Wednesday.
God Bless,
-Kendall
